SEW-ON REFLECTIVE FABRICS (China Imports) - These are high quality reflective fabric tapes manufactured in China. Their quality rivals 3M material in reflectivity and durability, but at lower cost. They are for application to safety vests, coveralls, jackets, and uniforms worn by road & utility workers, equipment operators, miners, and other professions where conspicuous visibility is essential to safety. The reflective surfaces of these trims are of the enclosed lens, glass bead type. These are ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Level 2 certified. Our top-selling regular silver-gray reflective fabric trim, first shown below, is 35% Cotton / 65% Polyester. For firemen, welders, and others for whom flammability is a concern, the flame Resistant (FR) tapes below are available in both a plain silver, industrial-wash rated fabric, and also fluorescent colored "triple trim" reflective striping. These flame Resistant (FR) tapes are 100% FR treated cotton.

FLAME RESISTANT SEW-ON REFLECTIVE FABRIC (Imported) - These top quality flame resistant reflective fabric tapes are for application to firefighter bunker coats, oilfield worker and welder coveralls, and other protective clothing that may be exposed to flames or high heat. It is rated for 50 industrial wash cycles at 185ºF, or 50 dry-cleaning cycles. Under home wash conditions, it is rated for 100 cycles at 140ºF. Material is 100% FR treated cotton and is 18 mils thick. Best on middle to heavyweight fabrics. Free samples of these available upon request.

FLAME RESISTANT SEW-ON TRIPLE TRIM (Imported) - Fluorescent Yellow and Orange with 3/4" silver reflective stripe (a.k.a.triple trim), these top quality flame resistant reflective trims are for application to firefighter's bunker coats, welders and oilfield worker's coveralls, and other clothing that might be exposed to flames or high heat. Material is 17 mils thick and backing is 100% FR treated cotton. Wash durability is 50 cycles at 60C (140F) and medium tumble dry temperature, or 30 dry cleaning cycles. Best on middle to heavyweight fabrics.

SAFETY VEST TRIM - IMPORTED SEW-ON REFLECTIVE (aka Triple-Trim) - A great quality equivalent to 3M's 8471 and 8472 reflective vest triple-trim for less than half the cost. Reflective vest triple-trim is a light-weight polyester trim for safety vests worn by flagmen, construction, and utility workers (not good for shirts). This material has a 5/8 inch wide reflective stripe heat-applied to a 6-mil thick, fluorescent polyester fabric. This safety vest triple-trim withstands a minimum of 40 home wash (104 F°) and medium-temp drying cycles with only a nominal loss of performance. Approved to EN ISO 20471:2013, ANSI-ISEA 107 Level 2.
